Nicholas Boeckx

 Dr Nicholas Boeckx

Dr Boeckx has a portfolio career that spans his interests in primary care, medical education and computing. He is a working GP, Training Programme Director, Trainer and Consultant to EMIS Health where he works as a clincal system development consultant. Clinical systems authored by Dr Boeckx are operational in over 4000 GP surgeries and have been endorsed by the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE). Married with two children his out of work interests include, computing, rock climbing and snowboarding. Dr Boeckx has published three clinical textbooks (Notes for the MRCGP 4th Edn ,  An Aid to the MRCP: Essential Lists, Facts and Mnemonics and mymrcgp Physical Examination for the CSA). He received an RCGP quality award for education and was made a Fellow of the Royal College of Practitioners in 2017 in recognition for his clinical and educational work. 

                      

Dr Boeckx has worked to support trainees preparing for their clincical skills examinations and to this end founded the Deanery approved  CSA course. He contributes regularly to the RCGP West Midlands Faculty course where he enjoys working with a range of colleagues including world renown consultation skills expert Roger Neigbour and senior CSA examiner Professor Simpson.
